The White Horse Inn has been situated on this site for more than 300 years. A handsome stone building with a relaxing garden and patio area where you can sit in fine weather and watch the horses go by, listen to the birds singing or enjoy a civilised game of Petanque (French Boules) on our very own Petanque pitch. Bradford on Tone is an attractive village roughly half way between Taunton and Wellington and about five minutes drive from Junction 26 of the M5 in Somerset. It is perched on a ridge above the River Tone which is crossed by a 15th century bridge. The village, complete with post office and shop, St Giles Church and thatched cottages, retains much of its rural character. This Somerset pub has a 65 seater A la Carte Restaurant and we are known for producing good home cooked food. Seasonal ingredients and local suppliers are used wherever possible. All our meals are freshly prepared to order. The White Horse Inn at Bradford on Tone is well known for its Real Ales and we are proud to have been selected by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and featured in the Good Beer Guide. We also offer a range of lighter meals and snacks which can be ordered from the bar. The White Horse also has a number of other facilities including a function room and traditional Somerset Skittle Alley. |
