The White Horse Bar

Amongst the beers and ales offered at The White Horse Inn are several from Somerset brewers Cotleigh. We always stock Tawny as we find it the most popular.

Guest ales change regularly and include Hopback Brewery 'Summer Lightning' and 'Crop Circle'; Fullers 'London Pride'; Ringwood Brewery 'Forty Niner'; 'Old Speckled Hen'; Otter Ale; Tanglefoot; to name but a few. We keep Tawny as the constant as it is popular with the locals but we like to change the others to give our customers good choice. We also offer a wide range of soft drinks and fine wines.

The Restaurant

Large Parties can be catered for by prior arrangement with the food pre-ordered.

Petanque (also known as Boules).

There have been historical references to this game in both South West England and France for many centuries. Similar to bowls (resting your boule closer to the jack than your opponent) it is played on stoney ground. Here at the White Horse Inn we have built our own Petanque Pitch - what better a way to spend a relaxing evening.
